Regina police are asking the public for information following an attempted robbery that took place in the city’s south end on Thursday afternoon.

Officers were called to a business on the 3000 block of Gordon Road for the report of a weapons offence involving a woman around 5:40 p.m., according to a release from the Regina Police Service (RPS).

Police said the suspect demanded personal items while holding a bladed weapon to a victim. The suspect fled the scene after she was unsuccessful in obtaining the items.

No one was hurt in the incident, police said.

If anyone has information, they are asked to contact Regina police or Regina Crime Stoppers.
