A Regina man is facing charges after an assault involving a weapon Wednesday night.
Police say a 29-year-old man assaulted a 31-year-old man with a weapon in the 1600 block of Rae Street.
The victim left the scene and went to the 100 block of Garnet Street, where police were called. He was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Nolan Reece Nordquist faces charges including aggravated assault and uttering threats. He made his first court appearance Thursday morning.
