A man is in hospital after an altercation near the Regina Public Library in the city’s downtown core on Monday night.

Police were called to the area outside the library around 7:20 p.m. An 18-year-old man had been struck on the head after getting into an altercation with another man. He was taken to Regina General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Investigators are looking for a fair skinned man with spiky hair, sunglasses, and a black bandanna in connection with the incident.
