The Saskatchewan NDP leadership race has sparked a modest increase in party membership sales.
Monday was the deadline for party members who want to help choose the next leader.
About 11,000 people will be eligible to vote -- 3,000 more than last year.
New Democrats will vote to select a new leader at a convention March 9 in Saskatoon.
