The Saskatchewan Legislative Building has been used as a washroom.

Security cameras have captured partiers relieving themselves on the provincial political landmark.

Sergeant-at-arms Patrick Shaw, who is also head of security at the legislature, said party bus and limousine companies have been pulling up in front of the building late at night and allowing people to pee on it.

Shaw claimed three bus companies are responsible, and the first time the incident was caught on camera was four years ago.

“We've been met with kind of a jocular attitude, saying: 'What can we do?’” Shaw said Wednesday.

"Well, you can certainly stop it, allowing them to get in front of the (legislature) to do that. And I think it's disgraceful and it's got to stop."

Premier Brad Wall also wants people to stop peeing on the political hub, as he took to social media.

“The term I used was jackwagons, and I stand by it,” Wall told CTV. “People should know this is going on and the people that are doing it should know that there’s going to be a lot of people that see this now.”

Mitch Blyth with Carpe Diem Limousine Service said his company can’t control what clients do outside the limo.

“It’s really out of our control when these individuals do stuff like that. We really do our best to keep it classy, but sometimes it’s based on its own merit of how individuals act,” Blyth said.

“Once clients get out of the limo, it’s something that we’re not responsible for.”
