Regina police have released the name of a man killed in a hit-and-run collision, along with a description of the suspect vehicle.

Police believe Jamie Gallon was struck by a pickup truck while he was cycling on Ross Avenue around 7:30 p.m. Sunday.

The truck and driver fled before police and EMS arrived. Gallon, 42, died at the scene.

Major crimes investigators are trying to locate the vehicle and driver. Police are asking the public to be on the lookout for a 2009-2012 Ford F-150 truck with front-end damage. Police say they are not narrowing down the description to include vehicle colour at this time.

Anyone who sees or knows of a truck matching the description is asked to contact Regina police or Crime Stoppers.
