More Syrian refugees have arrived in Saskatchewan and are now calling the province home.

Six adults and eight children arrived at the Regina airport on Monday night. The Regina Open Door Society was there to welcome the newcomers.

Meanwhile, the Moose Jaw Multicultural Council greeted four refugees – two adults and two children – who will be living in the Friendly City. Two more adults and two more children were expected to arrive later Monday and will also resettle in Moose Jaw.

Prince Albert was also set to receive four refugees Monday night. In all, about 850 displaced Syrians are expected to resettle in Saskatchewan.
