Traffic was backed up for several kilometres after at least two vehicles rolled over on the Ring Road in Regina.

Emergency crews were called to an SUV rollover at the South Albert Street exit just before 6:30 a.m. Wednesday. Police say the female driver was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

An hour later, another vehicle rolled over on the Ring Road near the Wascana Parkway exit. Police say the female driver didn't appear to have suffered any injuries.

Southbound traffic was down to one lane on the Ring Road near the Wascana Parkway exit. At one point, traffic was backed up all the way past the Arcola Avenue overpass.

Meanwhile, southbound traffic on Wascana Parkway was being diverted at 23rd Avenue.

Police say there was also a report of a crash on the Trans-Canada Highway west of Lewvan Drive, but details weren’t immediately available.
