NDP still a distant second to Sask. Party as election day looms: poll

The latest poll shows the Saskatchewan Party is still well ahead of the NDP as the provincial election campaign hits the home stretch.

The Mainstreet/Postmedia survey pegs support for the Sask. Party at 54 per cent, with the NDP in distant second at 28 per cent.

Four per cent of respondents said they would vote for the Green Party if Monday’s election were held the day they were polled. The Liberals were fourth with three per cent support. Twelve per cent of those polled were undecided.

The poll, which surveyed 1,509 Saskatchewan residents by phone on March 31, has a margin of error of plus or minus 2.72 per cent 19 times out of 20.
