Officials say construction on Regina’s new football stadium is 60 per cent complete.
The City of Regina and PCL Construction provided an update on the project Monday.
“It’s exciting to see the progress that has been made by PCL and the city team since ground was broken over 500 days ago,” Regina Mayor Michael Fougere said in a news release.
The new Mosaic Stadium will feature a spectator roof, along with improved lighting and seating.
Construction is expected to be substantially complete by the end of next August, and the Saskatchewan Roughriders will play their first game in the new stadium in June 2017.
