Saskatchewan Roughriders quarterback Darian Durant is looking to turn his negative comment on social media into a positive.
Durant is asking fans who have offered to pay a portion of his CFL fine to instead donate to Geroy Simon's Coats for Kids charity campaign, which aims to ensure every child in Regina will have a winter jacket.
Fans are asked to bring used coats to the Oct. 12 home game or donate through the charity's website.
