One suspect has been charged with attempted murder and Regina police are searching for three others after a person was shot at during a violent home invasion Thursday night.

Officers were dispatched to a home in the 1600 block of Retallack Street just before 6 p.m.

Police say a group of four men kicked in the door of the home and assaulted a man inside with a bladed weapon.

The two male occupants of the house chased the intruders outside to their vehicle, where one of the four men pulled a gun and shot at one of the victims, missing, as the vehicle drove away.

The man who was assaulted was treated by EMS and taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police later located the suspect vehicle and arrested a 26-year-old man without incident. The gun has not yet been recovered.

Logan Edward-Thomas Ross has been charged with attempted murder, break and enter with intent to commit assault, assault with a weapon, and using a firearm while committing an indictable offence. He was scheduled to make his first court appearance Friday afternoon.

Authorities are still looking for three other suspects. Anyone with information that could help in the case is asked to contact Regina police or Crime Stoppers.
