RCMP are investigating after two men were found dead inside a motel room in Moosomin, Sask.

Police were called to the Prairie Pride Motel, located along the Trans-Canada Highway, after the two deceased men were located inside one of the rooms Monday afternoon.

Investigators are working to determine the circumstances of the deaths, and RCMP say they will not be identifying where the men are from at this time because they are working to notify next-of-kin.

Moosomin RCMP are investigating with the assistance of forensic investigators from Yorkton and the Office of the Chief Coroner. Mounties say there is no risk to public safety.

Autopsies are scheduled for later this week in Regina.
