Regina police have laid theft charges against two of their own employees.
Both are civilian workers and police say the alleged incidents happened while the two were on the job.
One of the cases stems from the complaint of a man who was in custody. He said that when he was released, some of his money was missing.
Police have charged 25-year-old Chantel Nicole Fayant with theft under $5,000.
In a separate incident, it's alleged an employee was pocketing some of the fees paid for criminal record checks.
Chrysta Marie Garner, 35, has been charged with theft over $5,000 in that case.
Both Fayant and Garner are no longer employed with the Regina Police Service.
