A male young offender is in custody after an assault Saturday evening in Moose Jaw.
Around 8:15 p.m. Saturday, police were called to the 500 block of First Avenue North West for a report that a man had been sprayed with bear spray. The suspect had left before officers arrived and the male victim was taken to the Moose Jaw Wigmore Hospital for treatment, police said in a news release. The victim was released from hospital later Saturday night.
Police found and arrested the suspect. He has been charged with assault with a weapon and breach of undertaking. He will appear in court on Monday morning.
