A number of Saskatchewan computer and internet experts held a Hack-A-Thon in Regina Saturday. While that sounds like a bad thing, they are actually hoping to help people by creating a new app.

December 3 is International Open Data Day, a day to encourage open data policies at all levels of government. So to mark the day, the Saskatchewan chapter of Open Data, held the event.

They volunteered their time to take available government information, and make it more accessible to the public.
