The driver of a motorhome has been charged after an incident in east Regina that left a man injured Monday afternoon.

Witnesses told police the 34-year-old man was driving his car on Prince of Wales Drive when he struck a curb in order to avoid the motorhome, causing damage to the car.

Police say the motorhome stopped and the driver of the car approached on foot. As the motorhome drove away, the man held on to exterior. The driver of the motorhome braked and the man fell off, suffering injury.

The motorhome left the scene, but later returned, police said. The driver of the motorhome was arrested and charged.

Christopher Alan Martyn, 46, of Regina is charged with failing to stop at the scene of an accident involving bodily harm. Martyn was scheduled to make his first court appearance Oct. 11.
