A fire has destroyed a hotel in a small community in east-central Saskatchewan.

Emergency crews responded to the blaze at the Bernier Street Hotel in Dubuc early Tuesday afternoon.

Firefighters managed to keep the flames from spreading to nearby buildings, but they were unable to save the hotel.

No one was injured.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
