Roger Phillips, the man behind Ipsco’s incredible growth, has passed away at age 73.
Phillips spent two decades as the president and CEO of the company, which is now called Evraz.
He is credited with turning a small western Canadian pipe manufacturer into a steel and pipe giant.
Phillips retired from the company in 2002.
