A former Swift Current teacher has pleaded not guilty to sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl.
Klaus Froese was charged after RCMP launched an investigation into a complaint last December.
The former teacher at O.M Irwin Middle School was earlier released on several conditions, including that he not attend any school, pool or other areas frequented by children.
The trial is expected to last one day. Froese's next court appearance is scheduled for May 25.
