Police are investigating after SWAT was called to a firearms offence early Saturday morning.

Police were called to the 2000 block of Princess Street around 2:00 a.m. Saturday. According to police, officers set up a perimeter around the residence and began investigation.

Around 4:30 a.m., crisis negotiators and SWAT were authorized to come to the location and assist in the investigation, police said in a news release. The people in the home left the residence at 6:15 a.m. and were taken into custody without incident.

Police say the investigation is still in its early stages. Traffic restrictions have been removed to the area.
