Two people who were shot and injured at the Pump Roadhouse in April have filed a lawsuit against the nightclub.

On April 29th, a gunman opened fire inside the club, hitting Sarain Stoney and Jordan Burns, according to court documents obtained by CTV.

Stoney claims he was hit by a bullet in the head and the right shoulder. Burns claims that while the gunman fled, he also shot Burns twice in the left arm.

Both victims say the incident has left them in emotional distress and chronic pain.

The lawsuits claim the pump failed to take reasonable steps to ensure the safety of its patrons and attendees.

CTV attempted to reach Mark Smith, the owner of the Pump for comment, but he did not return our calls.

None of the allegations have been proven in court.
