Regina city council is gearing up for what could be a marathon meeting on Monday evening.

Council has 65 items on the agenda, including the re-zoning of a block in the Cathedral neighbourhood,

A report from Regina’s planning commission recommends the denial of an application to develop a mixed-use 4-story building at the corner of 13th Ave. and Elphinstone St.

If the application is approved, a character home will be demolished to make room for a parking lot.

City council will also be discussing funding for the civic museum of a Regina, a tax break for curling clubs, and a new big box shopping development off of Arcola St.
