A Regina man has been charged in connection with robberies at four rural banks.

The robberies took place several months ago, in Grenfell on Nov. 9, Vibank on Nov. 17, Sedley on Nov. 25, and Lang on Nov. 26. In each case, a man wearing a disguise approached n employee and demanded cash, before fleeing on foot. No one was injured in any of the robberies.

Several RCMP detachments, along with the Regina and Yorkton Police Dog Services and the Yorkton Forensic Identification Section took part in the investigation.

On Feb 11., a 20-year-old man was arrested in connection with all four robberies.

Timothy Holowachuk, 20, has been charged with four counts of robbery, and four counts of wearing a disguise with intent to commit an indictable offence. He will appear in court on Friday.
