Several vehicles hit ditch on icy, foggy highways around Regina

Several vehicles hit the ditch amid foggy and icy conditions on highways around Regina on Friday morning.

RCMP say they were busy responding to numerous reports of vehicles that had slid off the road on the Trans-Canada Highway, Highway 6 and Highway 11.

At least six vehicles went into the ditch on Highway 1 between Regina and Balgonie.

Motorists are being advised to drive with caution and to check highway conditions before heading out.
