Six people have been charged after two armed robberies in Regina over the weekend.

Police say a group of people armed with various weapons, including a gun, entered the house, stole property and left after the resident of the home answered the door late Saturday night.

A short time later, police were called to a night club in the 2400 block of 11th Avenue after two men and a women were robbed at gunpoint by a group of people outside the club early Sunday morning.

Officers stopped a suspicious vehicle near the intersection of Fifth Avenue and Angus Street. Police say they found bladed weapons and two guns in the vehicle, along with property from the Athol Street and 11th Avenue robberies. Five men and a woman inside the vehicle were arrested.

Aaron Roy Sparvier, 18, Jesse Shane Keewatin, 18, and Jeremiah Theodore Stonechild, 25 – all from Regina – and Lyndon James Delorme, 20, Kayla Runns, 22, and Cody Michael Gordon, 25 – all from Punnichy, Sask. – each face charges including three counts of armed robbery.

All six made their first court appearance Monday morning.
