All three lanes on a highway near Balgonie, Sask. were closed for several hours Tuesday after a semi-unit hit the ditch.
A semi transporting gravel-crushing equipment was turning onto Highway 10 when it lost control and entered the ditch, blocking the entire highway, RCMP said in a media release around 12:45 p.m.
Traffic moving southwest towards Regina was detoured 6.4 kilometres via grid roads.
A tow truck removed the semi from the ditch and the highway was re-opened shortly before 3 p.m.
