Two people are facing charges after police seized several firearms from a Regina home on Thursday night.

Police obtained a warrant to search the home in the 1500 block of Regent St. after a break and enter on November 9.

When investigators executed the warrant, they found aNorinco .308 calibre rifle, a Lithgo .303 calibre rifle, a Tikkakoski 30-06 rifle, .303 calibre ammunition and magazine, miscellaneous caliber ammunition and other property.

Ryan James Andersen, 33, and Heather Adair, 32, were subsequently arrested and charged.

Andersen is facing two counts of possession of a weapon obtained by crime, three counts of unauthorized possession of a firearm, three counts of unsafe storage of a firearm, and one count of unsafe storage of ammunition.

Adair is facing one charge of possession of methamphetamine.

The two will make their first court appearance on Friday afternoon.
