At least two people are dead and several are injured after a collision between a vehicle and a road grader in central Saskatchewan.
Emergency crews were called to the scene Saturday evening about five kilometres south of Punnichy.
The collision occurred on a grid road — the 640 grid — that extends south off Highway 15 and through Punnichy.
Details on the crash were sparse as of 6 p.m. Saturday and crews were still on scene.
The number of people injured in the collision was unclear. .
“There are multiple injuries and two confirmed fatalities,” RCMP said in a media release.
Punnichy is located about 120 kilometres north of Regina.
