A male suspect attempting to steal alcohol from a business pulled a knife on an employee of the business after the employee challenged him.

Police were sent to the 2800 block of Avonhurst Drive on 5:45 p.m. on Friday after a report of robbery, according to a police release.

The suspect fled the area on foot with the alcohol. No one was injured during the incident.

The suspect is described as an Aboriginal male in his late teens to early 20’s, approximately 5’9” to 6’0” tall, wearing a black shirt, blue jeans, a backwards ball cap and carrying a kitchen knife.
