Two houses were completely destroyed by a fire in a central Saskatchewan resort community Friday evening.

Emergency crews were called to Glen Harbour, a community located about 60 kilometres northwest of Regina along Last Mountain Lake, around 6 p.m.

One home was engulfed in flames when crews arrived and the blaze quickly spread to the second house, RCMP said in a media release. Both homes were destroyed while other nearby houses were also damaged.

Police are still investigating but do not believe the fire is suspicious.
