Police have seized both drugs and guns after conducting a search warrant at two different homes on Thursday.
Police detained a various quantity of drugs including cocaine, psilocybin (magic mushrooms) and marijuana. Also seized were firearms, machetes, ammunition, and over $38 thousand in cash.
28 year-old male, Chance Brian Macdonald, was arrested at the 900 block of Swainson Street and subsequently charged with possession of a scheduled substance for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a scheduled substance, possession of property obtained by crime over five thousand dollars, unauthorized possession of a restricted weapon, unauthorized possession of a restricted weapon and unauthorized possession of a firearm.
29 year-old male, Steven Joseph Zerr and 27 year-old female, Amanda Rose Kautzman are both charged with possession of a scheduled substance, tampering with serial number of a firearm, two counts of careless use of firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition and two counts of unauthorized possession of a firearm.
