A portion of the Boundary Dam power station in Estevan has been closed over concern about a potential asbestos leak.
A SaskPower spokesperson confirmed contractors found something of concern while rebuilding a generator.
While it isn't known what was found, or if it’s harmful, officials were concerned enough to evacuate the area.
Samples have been sent to a lab for testing, but results may not be known for days.
