The Regina Red Sox organization has confirmed that Jay Livingston, the team’s current head coach, will not be returning next season.
In a press release, general manager Bernie Eiswirth said “Jay and I met to debrief the season and talk about the future. We came to a mutual conclusion that Jay is not able to give the Red Sox the time commitment we expect. We parted on good terms and we wish Jay all the best in his future endeavors.”
The Red Sox will now begin searching for a new head coach.
