The vacancy rate for Regina's office market has more than doubled since last year.

Regina recorded the greatest swing in vacancy -- rising to 11.1 per cent from 5.2 per cent at mid-year in 2013.

The national average is around nine per cent.

Regina had the lowest, or near the lowest, vacancy rates in Canada for years -- but now experts say the market is drastically changing.

Avison Young says it would be good to see the vacancy rate drop to or below the national rate of nine per cent.
