Saskatchewan Roughriders defensive lineman Eric Norwood announced his retirement from the Canadian Football League on Tuesday.
The 28-year-old native of Acworth, Ga., signed with Saskatchewan last May after spending three seasons with the Hamilton Tigers-Cats.
In 44 career regular-season CFL games, Norwood had 124 defensive tackles, 24 sacks, two interceptions and five forced fumbles.
He was named an East Division all-star in 2014.
