A 73-year-old Gravelbourg man is facing charges after a traffic stop led to the execution of a search warrant and the seizure of drugs, gun and cash.

Police stopped a vehicle around 8 p.m. on Feb. 17 on Highway 58 for an equipment violation. The driver was arrested after 6.6 grams of crack cocaine and a large amount of cash were found in the vehicle.

A subsequent search warrant at a property near Gravelbourg netted 27.2 grams of crack cocaine and 23 guns that were not properly stored, including a sawed-off shotgun.

Robert Arams, 73, has been charged with resisting arrest and a number of gun- and drug-related charges.

Arams will appear in court on April 13.
