A woman is dead and four others were injured after an SUV rolled off a central Saskatchewan highway.
Emergency crews responded to the crash on Highway 16 near Maymont, about 90 kilometres northwest of Saskatoon, shortly before 8 p.m. Sunday.
RCMP say it appears the vehicle lost control and veered off the highway before rolling several times in a ditch.
A 26-year old Saskatoon woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name has not been released.
Four other people in the SUV – a girl, two men and a woman – were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The cause of the crash is under investigation. So far, no charges have been laid.
