Paul and Carol Hill are the newest recipients of the CTV Regina Citizen of the Year Award.
Friends, colleagues and special guests, including Saskatchewan Premier Brad Wall, were on hand as the couple accepted the award at a gathering Tuesday.
Paul and Carol have improved education and the lives of disadvantaged youth through their service and gifts to various community organizations.
In 2011, they established the Mother Theresa Middle School of Regina, Canada’s first Jesuit-fostered academy, which helps underprivileged children in Grade 6 to 8.
The couple also founded One Life Makes a Difference, a charitable foundation that focuses on assisting disadvantaged youth.
In addition, Paul and Carol have made contributions to the Athol Murray College of Notre Dame, the Catholic studies program at Campion College and the Paul J. Hill School of Business at the University of Regina.
