Taiwan has lifted a ban on Saskatchewan poultry that was imposed after bird flu was detected in the province more than five years ago.
Federal Agriculture Minister Gerry Ritz made the announcement Friday.
Canada’s poultry exports to Taiwan totalled more than $22 million last year.
The Asian country is the fifth-largest export market for Canadian poultry.
