A 56-year-old woman charged with assaulting a resident at a Regina nursing home made her first court appearance Wednesday.
Tessie Weigetz was charged with assault after an alleged incident at Santa Maria Senior Citizens Home on Dec. 5.
It’s just one of several complaints that have surfaced about the care home in recent months.
Weigetz is scheduled to make her next court appearance Feb. 18.
