A Regina judge has found anti-gay activists Peter LaBarbera and Bill Whatcott not guilty of mischief.
LaBarbera and Whatcott were charged in April after they displayed materials on the University of Regina campus that violated the institution’s policy.
The two men were arrested by police when they both stayed on campus after security asked them to leave several times.
During the trial, University of Regina Provost and vice-president Thomas Chase testified that the materials the two men displayed were discriminatory and violated the institution’s “respectful workplace” policy.
