Regina city council has approved the largest property tax hike in a decade.
The 4.45 per cent increase was passed unanimously at a special budget meeting Tuesday night.
The average homeowner in Regina will pay about $65 more a year.
While several people spoke to council about how the budget could be improved, it was passed without any major changes.
