Commissioner’s Change of Command Ceremony held at Depot Division

The RCMP’s official Commissioner’s Change of Command Ceremony was held at Regina’s Depot Division on Thursday afternoon.

The ceremony marks the symbolic handover of authority to Commissioner Brenda Lucki. She is taking over from outgoing Commissioner Bob Paulson.

Lucki has more than 32 years of experience with the RCMP, serving in Quebec, Ontario, Manitoba, Alberta and Saskatchewan.

In March, Lucki became to first woman to be appointed permanent commissioner of the RCMP.
