A nine-year-old girl diagnosed with leukemia got the chance to go on the ultimate shopping spree at Toys R Us on Thursday morning.

Amanda Powers had three minutes to run through the store with her family and fill her cart with as many toys as possible. She was diagnosed with leukemia shortly after her seventh birthday.

The three-minute dash was hosted by Toys R Us and Starlight Children’s Foundation to provide sick children with positive memories away from the hospital.

Dash recipients are randomly selected as part of an internal Starlight Canada contest, where families share the details of their child’s story.
