An inmate on remand has died at Regina Correctional Centre.
The Ministry of Justice says the man was found unresponsive in his cell and was pronounced dead around 9 a.m. Wednesday.
Police are investigating and the ministry says it will conduct an internal investigation.
The death will also be referred to the provincial coroner’s office for review.
