The 53-year-old male driver of the pickup truck was pronounced dead at the scene. His family has been notified and his name will not be released.
Lloydminster RCMP are still on the scene of a collision on Highway 17 north of Lloydminster.
A northbound pickup truck and a southbound semi collided before noon on Dec. 27.
The two occupants of the semi have minor injuries.
Traffic was closed for several hours due to the collision.
The accident is still under investigation.
