RCMP stumbled upon a marijuana grow operation while executing an unrelated search warrant at a home in the Saskatchewan village of Paddockwood on Tuesday.

Mounties from the Saskatoon Border Integrity Section discovered the grow op while seizing counterfeit clothing and merchandise from the home.

RCMP in Prince Albert obtained a second search warrant for the home and seized pot plants, 100 grams of harvested marijuana and hydroponic equipment.

Police have charged 50-year-old Kelly Allan Robert Harris from Paddockwood with copyright infringement, passing of wares and possession of property obtained by crime, in addition to production and possession of marijuana.

Harris is set to appear in court in Prince Albert on Wednesday.

Paddockwood is located about 50 kilometres north of Prince Albert.
