An apartment building in Regina caught fire for the second time in the last seven months Saturday morning.
Fire crews called to the unoccupied apartment, on the 1400 block of Angus Street, just before 8 a.m.
Nearby buildings were evacuated as firefighters tackled the blaze. All hot spots in the apartment were extinguished as of 1 p.m., but crews were still on scene monitoring the situation.
No nearby buildings were damaged.
A member of the fire department told CTV the apartment building was unoccupied because renovations from the earlier fire were still not complete. The building is likely a total loss, the member said.
The cause of the fire is still not known.
