Police are investigating after a shot was fired into a house in North Central Regina on Wednesday morning.

Officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of Robinson Street after a resident reported a window of the home had been shot out.

No one inside the home was injured.

Police say it appears a “projectile” went through two panes of glass and a curtain before lodging in a wall. They say they were unable to recover the projectile without causing significant damage to the wall.

Based on other evidence, investigators believe a real gun was fired just before 7:40 a.m. Officers canvassed the neighbourhood, but did not obtain any suspect description.

Anyone with information that could help in the investigation is asked to contact Regina police or Crime Stoppers.
